Xander Electronics was born from Arturo’s passion.
Since childhood, electronics fascinated him. While other kids played with toys, he was taking them apart with a screwdriver, eager to understand how everything worked. That curiosity grew into a path of study in Electronics and Telecommunications, followed by a degree in Electronic Engineering – specializing in Analog and Power Design – at the Polytechnic of Turin.
Music entered the picture a little later, during high school, when Arturo picked up his first guitar. Very soon, his two passions — sound and circuits — collided. In 2006, the first spark of what would become Xander Electronics came to life.
Along the journey, Arturo wasn’t alone. Friends and mentors believed in him through both successes and failures. A special mention goes to Andrea Capurso, luthier and founder of Capurso Guitars, who welcomed Arturo into the world of musicians. In Andrea’s workshop, Arturo learned firsthand about the real needs of players and how to shape technology around them. In 2014, their collaboration grew stronger as they began crafting and installing handmade pickups for Andrea’s extraordinary instruments.
That same year, Arturo crossed paths with Alessandro, a brilliant Computer Science researcher at the Polytechnic of Turin. What began with requests for custom effects and technical tweaks soon became long discussions about music, innovation, and possibilities. Their friendship deepened, and by early 2015 Alessandro officially joined the team, bringing his vision and expertise into the project.
